Robert Goodman Edwards
I went back to university as a mature student after a career in animal health and veterinary pharmaceuticals and graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1998.
I have worked in Lancashire since. I opened my own practice in Wrea Green the same year I qualified, expanded to Woodlands Road, Ansdell in 1999 and went on to form Ansdell House Clinic in St Anne’s in 2006.
I still work in the same premises within the Therapy Company in the same room since 2006.
Osteopaths have to undertake a minimum of 30 hours Continued Professional Development (CPD) each year. I exceed this minimum every year and much of this is done with the Northern Counties Society of Osteopaths as well as attendance at the annual Institute of Osteopathy Conference.
I take my profession very seriously but I do have a sense of humour so beware the bad jokes!
